Raw Chocolate Macaroons

Detoxify While You Eat Them......For Real!

These amazing decadent raw chocolate macaroons are loved by everyone! My daughter took them to a party and one un-named very well-known Hollywood director/producer could not stop eating them. This is a healthy chocolate treat you can feel good about eating and remember, as with all of my raw food recipes, you are actually detoxing as you eat them!

Dry Ingredients:

4 Cups Dried Coconut Flakes - I like fine or medium flake

1 1/4 Cups Raw Cacao

1/8 teaspoon Himalayan salt - finely ground

Wet Ingredients:

1 1/4 Cups Raw Unheated Honey (Honey Pacifica Sage Honey is the best. The only truly

raw honey I have found that is not crystalized)

3 Tablespoons Raw Unrefined Coconut Oil

1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract - (optional - the inside of one large fresh vanilla bean)


Combine wet ingredients in one bowl and dry ingredients in separate bowl. Make sure each bowl of its respective ingredients is mixed thoroughly. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix with a spatula.

Scoop small balls out onto a cookie sheet and refrigerate. You can eat them right away, but the coconut oil and honey will harden in the refrigerator and firm them up.

Must remain refrigerated. They will not go bad out of the refrigerator, they will just melt. Enjoy!!!
